A Little Story
I am a seasoned journalist and career coach.
It was my dream as a child to become a journalist. I started my career as an intern at Bloomberg News then made my way to the Washington Post where I worked on Pulitzer Prize nominated investigations as an editor. I have bylines in the New York Times and Kiplinger Personal Finance. I am now a contributors editor of the career and education sections at Forbes.
Now I want to share some lessons I learned after all this time with others who want advice for this modern labor market. I teach clients how to find direction or fulfillment as well as how to build charisma to tell a powerful story in interviews and how to negotiate salary or offers with confidence.
I hold a bachelor of business administration from University of Michigan and a master of science in journalism from Northwestern University. I am also certified by the International Association of Career Coaches and the American Copy Editors Society and Poynter Institute For Media Studies.
